Teen Checking / Credit Starter Seminar

CORE's Teen Checking/Credit Starter Seminar is a great way to start educating your 15-19 year old about the correct way to manage money and their credit. CORE is offering identical seminars on Thursday July 29th and Saturday July 31st designed to prepare our youth to enter the financial world. These 90 minutes seminars are designed for both parents and teens to gain valuable, life long insight. In depth training will be provided on how to open, balance, and maintain a checking account. In addition, information on how to write a check, endorse a check, record transactions, and monitor a checking account online will be provided.

The second half of each 90 minute session will be focused on starting to build credit and the benefits of maintaining a good credit score. Parents and teens will learn about the pitfalls of predatory creditors as well as important information consumers need to know about how to protect their credit score. There is no fee to attend and please RSVP before July 26th by calling (912)-764-9846 or by sending an email to seminars@corecu.org.

However beginning July 1st, all locations will have the following hours:


Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday
9am - 6pm
Wednesday
9am - 1pm

Drive Thru on Main Street
Monday - Friday
8am - 6pm
Saturday
8:30am - 12 noon
