CORE's
Teen Checking/Credit Starter Seminar is a great way to start educating
your 15-19 year old about the correct way to manage money and their
credit. CORE is offering identical seminars on Thursday July 29th
and Saturday July 31st designed to prepare our youth to enter the
financial world. These 90 minutes seminars are designed for both
parents and teens to gain valuable, life long insight. In depth training
will be provided on how to open, balance, and maintain a checking
account. In addition, information on how to write a check, endorse
a check, record transactions, and monitor a checking account online
will be provided. |
| The second half
of each 90 minute session will be focused on starting
to build credit and the benefits of maintaining a good
credit score. Parents and teens will learn about the pitfalls of
predatory creditors as well as important information consumers
need to know about how to protect their credit score. There is
no fee to attend and please RSVP before July 26th by calling (912)-764-9846
or by sending an email to seminars@corecu.org. |
